2018 ‘Bandwagon Tour’ Dates with Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town

Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town are hitting the road together in 2018 and kicking it all off on July 12th in Raleigh, NC.

Born in 1983 in Longview, TX, Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town is an American mega-country music singer superstar. Her father, Rick Lambert, was a police officer and mother, Beverly, was a private investigator. While still in high school, Lambert fronted the house band at the, Reo Palm Isle, in Longview. Reo Palm Isle was a venue that legends such as Elvis Presley and Willie Nelson had played, and also where Brooks & Dunn started out as the house band.

Lambert gained her fame from her competition on the show ‘Nashville Star. She is best known as a solo artist, and as a member of the Pistol Annies with friends Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley.

In 2005, Lambert’s debut album Kerosene gained her national attention and was certified Platinum produced the singles “Me and Charlie Talking”, “Bring Me Down”, “Kerosene”, and “New Strings”. All four singles were top 40 hits on Billboard Hot Country Songs. In 2007 she released her second album, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and three singles from that album “Famous in a Small Town”, “Gunpowder & Lead”, and “More Like Her” were top 20 hits.

Her third album, Revolution, was released in 2009 and included the single “The House That Built Me” and “Heart Like Mine”.

Lambert has been honored by the Grammy Awards, the Academy of Country Music Awards, and the Country Music Association Awards.

Founded in 1998, Little Big Town is a country quartet founded based out of Nashville, TN. The group members are Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook (Fairchild’s husband), and Phillip Sweet. In 1997, while attending Samford University in Alabama, she met Kimberly Roads. The group got their start singing backup vocals and wrote for various artists, including Collin Raye and Sherrie Austin.

In 2002, Little Big Town released of their debut album, Little Big Town. The album featured the singles “Don’t Waste My Time” and “Everything Changes,” both of which reached spots on the US Billboard country charts.

Their second album, The Road to Here. featured the singles “Boondocks” and “Bring It On Home” and brought the band national attention in country music. They began selling tickets to larger and larger venues. The album was also nominated for “Best Country Performance” by a Duo or Group with Vocals at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards.
